Balancing problems W/Afs?
Well, I had a shimmy in the front end, around 63MPH, that was never there, with the stock rims. So, I called AFS, and they told me a couple things, but, it came down to me bringing them to a local shop with a Hunter Balancing System. I did that, yesterday, and the guy was AMAZED at how bad my front wheels were. I had weights stacked 3 piles high, and not even hidden behind the spokes... So, he started from scratch ,and got them RIGHT. But, what I'm wondering now is should I have my rears looked at?? This is how they came, from AFS:
I'm not bashing AFS in any way, they've been great, and are paying me back for the balancing, I'm just nervous now, that the rears are way off... Can it cause any problems??
By the way, before I got these, I had NEVER seen, or heard of this tire, and I must say I'm 100% happy with them. GREAT look, and very aggressive tires!!

AFS ended up sending me 4 new wheels and tires (the wheels were not the problem... was just easier that way) and footed the bill for shipping. Customer service was outstanding.
Although the current set is balanced much, much better than the original I can't really vouch for the Kumho's. I still get odd (although very minor) vibrations at certain speeds over 90mph. I can swap out with my original rims and Bridgestone RE730's and the vibration disappears.
I'll burn off this set and probably go with a different brand than Kumho next time.
EDIT: From the tread pattern on your tire it looks like a Pirelli P7000 (Supersport?). I had a set of these on one of my other cars and other than getting louder as they wore they were fine.
