This is my first post in this forum and I hope someone wil be able to help this novice. My first Corvette, White 93 Coupe, and I want to change the air filter but can`t seem to find an easy way to do this. I know it can`t be as hard as it seems, but what is the best way.
I unscrewed and removed the three ***** but unable to lift the cover up high enough to get the old filter out. I don`t have an owners manual so any advise would be a blessing.
Thanks
If you pull the three thumb screws completely out and remove the duct/clamp, the whole airbox should lift right out. The lid just sort of hinges off from there.
The middle screw attaches the box to the car so remove that one and the ducting and you can lift the box off and place it onto a front tire where it is easy to continue.
