91 vette temp question

how can i check my engine temp by using my climate control buttons

Hold the up and down buttons in simultaneously until the display changes. Then use the up button to select code 16. Once 16 is displayed press the center button (in between the up and down buttons) and the temp in ceicius will be displayed. I'll try to locate a tech tip that gives you the details. You can pull a bunch of info using this this method such as ignition voltage, engine speed, etc. :cool:

Here's a link to that tech tip. I think it works on all 90-96 Vettes, but is especially useful on 90-91 since we don't have the capability for a digital readout on our instrument panels.

That is very :cool: I had no idea that the climate controls have that capability.
