Not sure if it supposed to work this way or not, but, if I use the "upper" vent selection the compressor stops and it flows outside air. I only get cold air when I select automatic or bi-level.

Just looked at my brothers owners manual and its ECON for 84-89 with electronic A/C. :cheers: :smash:
