ok im thinking about getting from mid america black the gs hash marks and some of the c4 hood decals the black decal that says corvette you put on you hood would you think they would look good on my vette take a look at the pic and plz tell me what you think!

Black woukd go good with red.
You could save the money towards wheels or somethin. JMO

I personally think that both hood stripes and GS stripes together is a bit to much, I would go with one or the other. Just my opinion. Nice 84. Save the Wave :seeya

 

Hi Cory, first let me say I really like that paint job on your vette :thumbs: I would recommend just the black hash marks, if you must do any more decals. Not sure how that would look with that big white corvette decal on your window though......if you keep that on I would further suggest that NO more declas be added. Your car looks good the way it is! :seeya

 

I think Silver hash marks would look better, I don't want to get into why it will, but it has to do with the overall scheme of things.

 

I like mine.

I wouldn't dream of putting hash marks on a Vette till I knew it could perform as well as an LT4!!

And did you say you were going to put more lettering on the hood that said
"Corvette"?? Isn't the lettering on your windshield obvious enough? :confused:

The only thing that thing needs is 11 inch Zr1 wheels all around ... 335s in back and 315s in front.

No hash marks needed ...

I don't really uderstand the hashmarks on a car. They were originally used, and still are in the military, to show time in service. What is the significance on a Vette? :confused:

it looks good how it is. i would not add anything else. there is a fine line that once you cross it all the extras make the car look bad. bling bling if you know what i mean. just drive it and enjoy it. no need for improvement right now. find a part that is worn or looks bad and relpace that part or repair it. any flaws on the inside? replace them.

For $50 just get the GS Stripes painted on, instead of $30 for decals!!!
