I drive my '86 to work everyday (I wouldn't have it any other way) between April/May and October/November, then it gets parked for the winter. 83,000 and going up fast.
I do, except for when it snows and about 50% of the time in the rain, depends on how hard. Then I use my moms old truck although I'm planning on getting a nice beater from a friend of mine.
Well, I will when I finally get it passing the emissions test. I think the passenger side O2 sensor is bad.
I used to have a Vette as a daily driver for a year.. I put too many miles on the car and reduced the value of the car a lot.. So I decided to only use the Vettes for pleasure driving.. even though I drive them every once in a while to work...
My 91 is a daily driver into downtown Los Angeles (parked in a covered garage). It's a car that is pampered but is meant to be enjoyed...washed and waxed each weekend with 85K.
Mine is a daily driver when it's running.
This last winter I drove it when the roads were clear. I won't do it anymore b/c I started to get some rusting. Even my freshly cleaned injectors that looked like new now have rust on them. :nonod:
mine is my daily driver. of course, i dont have another car...
:seeya same here. I figure you have to drive something to work every day, it might as well be a Corvette, right?
I have 104k miles. I bought the car a little over a year ago and I've put on 18k miles since then. I don't plan to ever resell it. Just as long as you keep changing the oil every 3000 miles with synthetic oil, the car should last forever. And when the engine finally goes, I'll pull it out, put in a big block, and turn the 'Vette into a pure drag racer.
