I went up to Belle Tire yesterday to get my tires balanced, the guy said it would take 45min to an hour...ok no big deal number one thing that pissed me off...they pulled the car too far forward onto the lift so that the rear tires were jammed against the lift, instead of just lowering the car and moving it backward a little bit they get 2 guys to yank the wheel off, and thus beat the rear wheel back onto the car....ok so I am a little agitated at this but keeping my cool, my car had these lame after market fake knock-offs on it, I told them to just leave them off becuase I had new center caps put on, well they dont have the right tool to take the circlip off the back so they just pull really hard and pull the spinner off of the mounting part :mad yeah i know they arnt going back on but com'on guys...then they leave the center part on so I cant even put the new stock center caps back on....and today to top it all off I drive 150 miles back up to school. Buy some new brake pads and head home to change them....but not gonna happen because the retard forgot to put the lug nut keyed socket back in the car :mad :mad :mad So I call them up and the guys is like "oh yeah we get those all the time, you'll have to come down and get it" :mad :mad
So now I am stuck with no-center caps, and pretty much dead brake pads until I can get back downstate and go in and get the keyed thing...I guess I should have checked to make sure it was in the car, but after being there for 3 HOURS I was ready to leave.....whew ok rant done
We've all been there...I feel sorry for you....but live and learn.....been there done that......wish I had all the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I've wasted......

Get on the phone and call them right now! Tell them to send the lock-key to you overnite express! They screwed up! Not you! They've screwed you once. Don't let it be twice! :mad Man it burns me up when a business does that to someone! If you didn't pay cash, I'd be tempted to stop payment till they return that lock just for the principle! :cuss
That's their problem! Tell'em to send all 10 and you'll return what you don't need! At your convenience, of course! It's not like the idiots are going to need them!! :mad Ooooo that makes me mad! :cuss
I would've been fuming since theres too many stupid azzes out there. When are they gonna get their heads outta their butts ? Some of these places are family owned and they prolly hire from within the family and somones lil nephew aint all that bright. F#@!*ing Hillbillies. :mad
OK pissed off part 2....So a friend of mine was heading downstate and back today so I called and talked to a manager at belle tire, the same one who yesterday told me "oh yeah we have lots of those" and told him that my friend would be stopping down and to give her ALL of the ones that he had laying around and that I would bring the ones that wernt correct back down at my convience...so that is what was agreed on....so she gets back and has just one.. WHICH IS THE WRONG F&^%$&G ONE .....back on the phone with Belle Tire, and this time "oh she came in and we only had one laying around" so now they cant even find mine anywhere...I am so pissed off.... :mad :mad :mad
And they were jerking her around saying that "oh that was like 2 weeks ago, and he must have talked to the wrong peron" and giving her a bunch of poopie about it. my friend said that the guy said "I am trying to work with him but since it was so long ago I told him he had to come down" this is the same peron I talked to on the phone earlier TODAY and I had my car in their on monday, not two weeks ago
So now I ask...what should I do

I think it's time to contact ownership, and after that, make a complaint with the BBB. You might be able to recoup your losses in small claims court too.

Ditto. How many of us do you need with you to prove your point?
Gee! What :conehead s!!
This is the very reason I put my car on Jack stands and take the wheels in to the shop myself. I always use some place that sells custom wheels it seems they take a little more care in mounting and balance work then your run of the mill tire store. I would have been :mad if it had been mine too
