Charging system
Does the 12 volt current used to run these cars come off the alternator or from the battery? What does the digital dash volt meter read......battery or alternator output? :confused:

The energy produced by the alternator is "mixed" in with the rest. If your alternator quits than the car will run till the battery is exhausted. The volt gauge measures the volts in the entire electrical system.
