Re: I love summer (Storz)
Got her all Mothered up Wed night and it started to rain! But, the skies cleared, the road dried up and I headed for Rosie's Diner in Rockford, Michigan for cruise night. It really sucked though as the earlier rain had scared most everyone away. :smash: BUT, oh joy - on the way home I found a new Mitusushi vert in front of me (sans fart can). He turned off on Grand River Drive (a local twisty road) and I kinda pushed him along (at a safe distance Mr. Trooper). He was unable to lose me without gettin dangerous. At the stretches where he could safely accelerate I could see that he was punchin it, but I kept gaining. What a blast. Top down, 82 degrees, just lovin the whole experience. Done safely of course Mr. Moderator. :steering: :steering: :steering: :steering:

I don't see why rain scares everyone. Our cars won't melt!
I haven't stopped driving mine except for the deep snow we had in February.
THere is a Cruise night tonight, I gaurantee if any show in their vettes, none of them will have driven to work in them because it's raining right now.
I have ny annaul crab trip tomorrow, I've already lost 6 people due to the "chance" of rain. It rains every year on this trip, but never enough to put a "damper" on the activities.
I drive mine everyday,,,it's my only car.
But, down here in South Florida it is the rainy season. I have a cordless screwdriver to take the top off quickly between the storms.
I love it with the top off.
It should be a law, if you have a vert or a targa and the weather is nice, you have to take it off. :auto:
