While I was shopping at the local Smart &Final....a guy drove into the parking lot....with a vette....asked him what was the color of his vette...and believe it or not...he did'nt know what it was.....
It had the ZR1 rear.....and the '84 front end......when I looked at it....had the crossfire side emblems...
Damn what a jerk.....he did'nt know what his vette was......
I can't believe that.....
I asked him question's......but he was lost......
Whoa.....
Just thought I would share.....
My Wife thought I was crazy to talk to him....you know she was right!!!!!!!!!!!

:auto: :auto:
I'm confused on two counts....(1) why anyone in the world would put a ZR1 butt on an '84...and then someone else being silly enough to buy it, and (2) why two guys don't know what "color" a color is  Am I missing something? :seeya
Such a shame...You should have confiscated his keys till he could provided better information  I think there should be a Vette history exam everyone takes before being allowed to purchase a Corvette :yesnod: :jester
Lots of Vette owners change the rear bumper to the 91-96 style. The ZR-1 bumper is actually 3 inches wider and then the doors and quarters have to be wider to match. So I'm betting it's not a ZR-1 rear bumper.
What color did it look like to you? Maybe a repaint to some offbeat color?
