Oil?what do you use?
Well my 96GS clone LT4 should be in my driveway in a week the first thing I'm doing is the fluide's.I am a big Mobil 1 fan but I'm thinking of going to Royel Purple or Red line maby AMSoil. So bone stock LT4 96 what oil you use AND what grade. My Grand Sport clone was the same one next to the Rampage at E-bay.I was looken at both, the Grand Sport cost less and had fewer miles.I get to start with this,hope it's everything I read and hear. :)

5w-30, just like the manual sez.
But I like Valvoline Full Synthetic.

was just lookin at some today.they only had 1 quart of mobil1 5/30 sysnthetic and the guy was trying to sell me some mobile "driveclean" stuff.
i picked up the bottle of mobile1 and read this;
"Mobil 1 with SuperSyn™ 5W-30 is designed for passenger cars and light trucks with gasoline or diesel engines. It also exceeds "Energy Conserving" ratings. Mobil 1 with SuperSyn™ 5W-30 is factory fill in all Chevrolet Corvettes."
i said ,no i will find some of this.

I use either Castrol SynTec or Mobil 1 5w30, whichever's on sale in the five-quart convenience size juggy.

for a while, i was on the MOBIL 1 thing. LPE sent the car back with quaker state 10W30. i switched to mobil 1 after the first 500 miles...but went back to quaker state and it's fine with it.
