Stability question
Hi all,
I've read many posts about the lack of stability in our C4s when we have the tops off. I've recently acquired my second C4, a '95 and traded my '90 for it. The funny thing is I never noticed how wabbly (sp?) the car felt until I drove the '95 without the roof on. I don't remember this sensation at all in my '90 with the roof off, and I put many miles on her like this. Has anyone else experienced this? Was there any difference between the two years to explain it? Or do you think by chance the fact that I'm noticing it more in the '95 might be because I may have a structural issue with the car. History of the car from Carfax is clean, and with only 24K on it and it's condition I have no reason to believe it's been damaged. Any thoughts are welcome!! Thanks. :cheers:

It's funny you mention that - there wasn't much of a difference when the roof was off in my old '86. With the GS, the steering wheel is alittle "shakey" with the roof of (and it only has 18K miles).

I believe that what you are experiencing is normal. My '96 is not as stable either with the tops off. From what I have heard some cars are worse than others. :seeya
