Default One BIG thanks!!! And another question...

Thanks to everyone who gave their opinion on which car I should choose (96 vert or Grand Sport).

I was hoping to hold off a couple more months before making such a big purchase...but  my POS honda blew its head gaskets for a third time!!!! Yes, that's right. I said a THIRD time. So much for the saying "Good old RELIBLE honda  ."

The plus side is that I get my vette a whole lot sooner!!!

So my question is...Does anyone know of someone selling a Grand Sport in Ohio or around Ohio. I will go as far as Florida if need be.

Please, oh, PLEASE help. I would love to have my vette before the summer weather ends.

Wish me luck on my search...and thanks again!!!

*Erica*

Roger's Corvette has 5 for sale in Florida. http://www.rogerscorvette.com

Of course, they charge more than most do... but their cars are beautiful.

My friend Mike is selling his GS, but it does have some performance modifications. If you want his e-mail, let me know. It's in Illinois.

I encourage you to find a private party. Since it's a "buyers market" you'll be able to work a better deal with a private party. Lots of desperate sellers right now. Good luck!

Looks like forum member Mez's 1996 red LT4 w/ stage 1 heads, etc (~380hp) is still on consignment at North Texas Motorsports:
http://www.ntmotorsports.com/details.cfm?IDnumber=296

I can't beleive no one has grabbed it for that price!

<edit> Mez is in like Singapore for a few years is why its on consignment. IM me if you want his email addr or it might be in his member profile. Not sure its still for sale but the website shows it... <edit>

There were some non-GS LT4's on autotrader.com a few hundred miles from you (based on zipcode in your profile) also, but the GS's on autotrader seemed pricey, at least to me.
