90 coupe A4. i see everyone claiming stock times of low 14's high 13's out of these. Mine wont even break the tires loose? It has absolutely no low end, feels like it doesent even move till it hits around 26-2800. It doesent throw any codes, doesnt backfire or studder. I cant seem to figure it out. Has that "rubber band" feeling when you mash it on the line. My 305 camaro would waste my vette on the line. Its had a recient tune up and fuel pump, had a surging problem that started but fixed that when I changed the pump. It has great partial throttle power at crusing speeds, but up top and down low...nope. Its all stock except for Borla and a K&N. Seems like the best part of my L98 isnt here. :cry
Edit: it also just turned over 70k so shes not tired yet! :D
No go, compared to what? A LS-1?
If it was mine I'd get a dyno tune. If your at a slight roll and nail it, it wont burn the tires. Power brake if you want to smoke-um.
L-98 run plenty strong.
Have you checked your cats. I have a 90 vert and my car was once like that. The precats were shot. Debris from them flowed down stream restricting flow through the main cat. I replaced my the whole system and now this thing is a typical L98 torque monster.

It just turned over 70k so I didnt think that would be an issue. I will look into it though! thanks!
I am in the same boat. My mom's 87 will smoke my 91. I had the exhaust backpressure checked by the Chevy dealership ... they said it was normal. I need to jack the car up and pull the main cat and check the pre-cats.
