Performance key not working
Performance key works for first 15 minutes after startup, then experience loss of power and feels like spark plug or injectors might be off. NEED HELP PLEASE REPLY! 1991 ZR1 just purchased 6 weeks ago. 16,000 miles. Car runs good with performance key on normal. [IMG][/IMG] :cry

Post this over in the ZR-1 section, you will get a better response.
My guess is you have a Vacuum leak. If you turn your ignition key to on position without starting the car do you her a pump running?

Is the performance loss when the car goes into close loop mode? Or is it always about 15 minutes no matter what the engine temp?
Have you check the fuel pumps before and after this happens?

(OLDACE 84 REPLY) IT IS COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE VALET KEY, IT CLOSES DOWN THE SECONDARIES TO DECREASE HORSEPOWER.

It was only in the ZR-1's. If you make it to NC sometime, look me up. I'll show you how the pwr key operates. :D

Golsboro is about 1.5 -2 Hrs from me. There is 3 of us in Jacksonville that I know of who have ZR-1s. And all 3 of us can be found here on the forum.
