Watching Your Car?
I let the wife drive the car on small trips just to watch the thing go down the road and check the lights, suspension etc. we have a long street and it's great to observe the car. She's no wimp, and will light them up on command, but babies the car otherwise. Is it just me or do the rest of you do this as well?
Thanks.

Your definately not the only one. Although this is rare as I am the one that drives my car 99% of the time.

I did the same thing when a buddy drove mine up the street. It was great to watch and hear my car for a change.

Re: Watching Your Car? (BOBA VETT)
Let my future daughter in law drive mine tonight, and I'm glad I did. As she was leaving, I noticed I have a tail light getting dim, so I gues I know what I get to do tomorrow. Oh joy.

Yes I do that also but I also watch myself while driving.
I drive and look at my reflection in building.
I also wink at myself

Re: Watching Your Car? (CENTURION)
When we first bought our 96 Trans Am I made my wife drive my 89 auto vette and race me since she couldn't drive 6spd fast enough to see which one was truly faster. She beat me in my vette.

I've only been outside mine when it's been on the dyno.
But at Carlisle I sat in the 35th tent and watched the others drive in and out. The first time I thought "what a beautiful car".

Yep. Saw and heard mine drive when I let the G/F drive it around the block. She didn't understand why I needed to "see it drive" but she didn't complain because she always wanted to drive it. Afterward she said, "Gee, this feels faster than my Avenger." What a kidder! :lolg:
I also do the store window reflection thing, great way to check your hair!! :jester :auto:

Yeah, everyone knows that an Avenger is faster than a Corvette. :skep:
