86 Coupe jacking
Does it matter if the Targa top is on or off if it is going to be up for a while?

If the car is level (all four corners the same height) or the front or rear are the same hieght, it will not harm anything. If any corner is jacked and left in that position for an extended period of time with the top off, the body will flex and twist slightly which could make it difficult to align the top upon when you eventually install it. I would say leave it on just as a precaution.
