Noticed that you were from Canal Winchester... I am actually in your neck of the woods. I am in the Dublin/Columbus area!! Just wondering if you knew Mike Hill?? He has my 69 vette (in peices) at his house waiting to be restored!! Hopefully can get that started as right now things are not where I need them to be..
I have my 88 corvette which is a white with blue interior convertible. Sort of a rare combination so it will stand out. I will more than likely be at the Bob McDorman show Friday and Saturday. Maybe I will catch you there. There are also two other corvette shows, July 27 - 'Polaris Quaker Steak and Lube' and August 9 - 'Corvettes in the Park' at Bishop Park. I should be there.. Just wanted to see if you were going to go...
Oh yeah, my 65 vette is in Lancaster being stored for me.. So now I have three corvettes all across Ohio.. Great huh (sarcasm). Hopefully soon, I will get the cars back up in one area again...
Anyway.. just wanted to drop you a line.. and if you need anything.....
Thanks for the post. I've been in Canal Winchester for a couple of years now. I'm not sure if I know Mike Hill or not. The name doesn't ring a bell, but I may have met him.
Be sure to check out the Great Lakes section. There are a few of us that usually get together in the Columbus area on a regular basis. Woody ( 2k1 Ragtop) also lives up in the Dublin area. Blue92 lives on the East side along with NotSlo. 03Ragtop lives in Mansfield, but gets down here regularly also.
Like Chris said, I usually do like to go up to the QSL on Sunday nights where they have a weekly car show. I will be up there on the 27th for sure for the big Vette show. The McDorman show is a certainty also, especially since I live only a half mile from McDormans.

Re: message for 87 ragtop (87 Ragtop)
Mike Hill doesn't own a corvette suprisingly.. he just restores them.. He has a shop in Lancaster but he is shutting it down. Taxman got him.. He does have my 69 tat his house and hopefully he will start restoring it. He does body off and does his own paint. Guess not too many people know about him....
Great Lakes system? Don't know that one..
I was in the Capital City Corvettes club for a year. They are putting on the vette show in Whitehall. Years ago I was in the corvettes of Lancaster... I was never much on clubs... Most of the people were much older than I was at the time. You know, some dumb kid at 27 driving around a 65 corvette convertible!!! Now I am much older and have the cruisin' scene out of my system.
I do not drive the 88 much and I think I only put on 50 miles on the 65 in the last couple of years. Of course the 69 is in peices but I think in the 10 - 12 years I have owned it, I put less than 10k miles on it..
Man I am just rambling on huh!!
Anyway, the next show is July 27 at QSL. I should be there providing the rain quits!!
Think you will make it to the Whitehall show??

LT-4 CE... where the heck is Bellville Ohio??
Bellville is about 40-45 minutes north of Columbus so it is no biggie to drive to Columbus to hang out. Steve (87 Ragtop) mentioned the Sunday QSL cruise-ins. I have been to a number of them over the last couple years, but only this year had a vette. They are pretty fun and seem to average 12-20 vettes, plus a number of other cars.

Well, I will be heading for the QSL show in a couple of weeks.... :auto:
Anyone going to the good guys car show this weekend? (I believe it is this weekend) they usually have a small selection of corvettes...

Re: message for 87 ragtop (Kelly Burnside)
Usually go on Friday, but can't make it this year. Will probably be going to the Cross Roads area Saturday night as there will likely be tons of cars cruising, especially since the Arthritis Foundation show is also in Dublin this weekend (it usually draws over 1,000 cars).
