just got my cloneGS and the inspection stated (overall vehicle is in excellant condition) the carfax showed nothing everything checked out.
It sound's good no tick's,drives good,but pop the hood and there it is right in front of battery,crack's like it was smashed in and pulled out.Shipping it was a JOKE,now owning it maby?Off to great start with my frist vette.
Does anyone know if I have something to fight with,I can't belive a ASC certified person missed this or a carfax?Knowing may have change my mind. :(

My personal opinion if you got a good deal on it and it lines up perfect on an alignment rack and all the body panels line up then I wouldn't worry about it. Many cars, not just Corvettes, that are 15+ years old have been in some sort of fender bender in their lifetime. As long as the work was done correctly you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
Now if you paid a premium for the car just because you thought it had never been hit in any way that is a different story, but you didn't say one way or the other.

17g- 96LT4 6speed CE/CVT 44,500 miles Had a Grand Sport fake job. everything all PRO Z16 option's.I really don't think I payed to much, really I got a killer deal, but now I know why, no one stated nothing about a crash.Most likey all bend over a take it.can't do nothing about it sold, used as is. :rolleyes:

cracks in the inner fender well? thats no big deal. you can run over something and damage that. you can buy a new inner fender from gm and install in an hour.
Right by the lach for the hood about 8inch's below the corner of the windshild ,I'll try to post a pic befor I go to a body shop.I don't know how to do this yet.It's not the fender well,up higher.
