1. Locked only key in car in garage. Got it out by using a electricians "snake" to actually hook the key ring from the passenger side window and pull them through. $30 later had new GM keys made.
2. Picked up the car on the way to a family function. Extended family had a blast riding in and driving vette 4-500 miles to function and home. No one had been in a vette before. Sunday evening at resturaunt 60 miles from home, no start. Lights strong etc... Hadn't been on this site, hadn't read owners manually fully. Beat on starter to get it to pull in, hard to get a good wack on vette starter. Finally wiggled an in line fuse and dam thing started! WOW was I glad. Did not want my shiny new vette setting in parking lot sunday night! Didn't want the family thinking I bought a lemon. Read this site enough that when same thing happened a week ago, I reinserted the key and waited three minutes. Dam thing started! Purchasing a bypass now.
3. Just love opening the clam shell hood showing the buds the engine and suspension. Looks like a real race car under there.

I have thought about the VATS bypass but, I'm kinda lazy and frugal.
