I'm planning a trip to the Covette plant and museum in bowling Green at the end of July. Any suggestions for do's and don'ts from anyone who's been there?
The plant is awesome. I was told recently they are only giving tours by reservations now. You may want to call and find out more. We found something kinda neat near BG because it was close to where we stayed. The MAMMOTH CAVES are only miles from the plant and are neat, if you like that kind of stuff.
The plant tours are at 9:00am and 1:00pm. Get there early. You can see everything in the museum in about 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. Go on the tour of the plant. Get pics of your car in front of the museum.

Re: Corvette Museum (sgbagel)
Make sure you take plenty of pics of your car with the museum in the background. Then blow up your best picture, frame it, and put it up at work. So purty. :blueangel:
You're free to take all the pictures you want at the Musuem (inside & out) but you can't take a camera into the assembly plant.
Here's the links you need for more info:
Join the NCM before you go. Membership in the Museum is tax deductible, too. You get free entry to the Museum as a member and 10% off stuff in the store. Take plenty of film as there are lot of exhibits. Definately try to get a reservation for a tour of the Corvette Assembly Plant which is just a few blocks away.
Nashville is a great stop and not too far away. You may want to stay there for a night or two. Opryland is pretty neat, The Hermitage (home of Andrew Jackson) is a short drive and very interesting. Head south to Lynchburg, TN for a tour of Jack Daniels distillery. Graceland is not too far away either.
