Default LT4 prices?

What have the prices on LT4 cars been doing this summer? Have they been dropping or holding steady? I am thinking about moving up to a CE LT4 convertible. I would need to sell my 88 first naturally. Now the magic question, Have they bottomed yet?

Paul

That will be sad day, but the good news is the LT4 will be more within reach for more of us  I'm just not overly enamored with the new vettes, of course the performance is there, but as a daily driver I think our C4's are sexier :seeya

I don't mean to upset any of the C5 guys, a vette is always a vette!

Couldn't agree with you more. If I have the cash, I'll buy a ZR-1 cheap.

I keep kicking this same thought around. I like the convertible body better than the coupe. That is what makes the LT4 more appealing to me than a ZR1. ZR1's did not come convertible. But from a long term ownership point of view I think the ZR1 will be the most favorable C4. On cruise night or at a car show open the hood on a regular C4 and then open the hood of an LT5 and see which draws the biggest crowd. I just wish the ZR1's came in a convertible body.

It bothers me a little when I see some just about giving away a great car. All C4's for that matter, not just the LT-4's.

As long as I can afford to hang onto it, I have no intention of selling my LT-4. I don't drive it too often but when I do it's just a total blast. I've got 20k miles on it and it still smells like new inside. As the last year made, the LT-4 enigne, black-on-black, dual power sport seats and Z51 suspension, to me it's a keeper.

For those looking to buy though, I have seen some great ones out there at more than fair prices.
