I was going thru the gears, minding my own business and woooosh a 4x4 passes me, so i step on it, right behind the truck and splut....i found out what that airfoil under the front bumper is good for, cleaning up road kill. a big ole fat woodchuck humped up real nice (like a golf ball on a tee) the 4x4 cleared it but...well you know....I wonder if i could plow snow this winter? :U
Reminds me back in my Mopar days when I was doing the same thing in a 70 Cuda, drafting a big butt truck down the freeway when suddenly there appears this humongous lump of flesh on the road in front of me.
It was a dead German Shepherd. Twelve inches and 100 lbs of dead dog trying to fit under the front skidplate of a car only 4.5 inches off the roadway.
Needless to say I way picking bits of dog and hair out from under that Cuda for the next few days. Not fun at all!
how much wood could a woodchuck chuck? :jester
bummer, i run way back when behind trucks fearing for rocks falling off.
really watch the bobtail trucks just pulling on the highway from gravel.
got a nice big rock from one the other day in my work truck.
they sling rocks straight up into the air for a mile after they hit they highway :mad
