I'm not sure if this is a repost, but I thought I'd post this for everyon's viewing pleasure...
And Aparently this is what the guy put in to his car.... I should mention that the end-table is a fully functional engine, with 7000 miles on it. The replacement is a 415cid Lingenfelter.
Re: I like this guy's end table..... (96CollectorLT4)
What a waste of a good engine  .... It's gross that there are people so wealthy that they can get away with something like that, and have it STARE at them every time they lay something on top of it!

Ahhh don't worry about it. Lots of times the ZR1 guys will buy a spare engine to modify and put the other one into storage in case of disaster with the other one. :)
my wife would be like "get your damn car parts offa my carpet,i stubbed my toe on that oil pan while doing my aerobics lessons this morning!" :jester

Stay in school, kid. You too can earn enough money to be able to furnish your home like that.
Very nice! This guy has to be single........ I can just envision the conversation with my wife and her response - "there is no f#*^'n way you are going to have an engine in our family room, keep it in the garage where you will sleep from now on! "

Exactly. Hell, I've still got the original 305 from my IROC sitting on an engine stand in my garage. If I had that ZR1 and yanked the motor, I sure as hell wouldn't sell it, and rather than stuff it in the garage under a cover, why not clean it up and stick it right in the living room? I convince the wife that it's a coffee table, I keep my garage space, and I wind up with a hell of a cool centerpiece in the living room. Sounds like a win-win-win situation to me. :)
