Removing Emblems?
I bought a new gas lid emblem for my CE, and I wanted to know how do you guys recommend I remove the adhesive that is holding the old emblem to the car? I got the speed nuts off, but it is still stuck in the car by the two sided adhesive. THANKS

If you heat it with a hair drier it should loosen it.

Spray some WD-40 on it to soften the glue and then use some fishing line to run under it to losen it up.

I got mine off by carefully slipping an old credit card between the emblem and the car body and working it back and forth.

Spray it with GooGone from Home Depot. Let it soak in and pry it off with a credit card. The fishing line/WD 40 thing didn't work at all for me.

Thanks guys...I got it off with WD-40, Dental Floss, and a Credit Card. Now it is making the nose emblem look old...so I ordered one for the nose

A good screwdriver or a crowbar should do the trick ;) :jester
