Proud 89 owner here
I just wanted to say that I am a proud 89 owner. Why you ask?
Well my friend with a mint 94 auto conv traded for a day just for kicks. My opinion of the 94 was that felt relatively slow from a start, did not handle nor ride as well as my 89, and just overall felt less of a sports car.:confused:
The attitude just wasn't there that you perceive in the 89. The 89 exudes toughness while the 94 just goes on its way in a reserved manner. I will give it credit for a mean 2nd gear kickdown on the highway though! :D
However, the 94 is a beautiful car, one that I would proudly own as well. But all this talk of newer is better just doesn't sit well with me.
To each his own I guess. :flag

I hear ya on all that. I do have to say though unless you have a built L-98 you just can't compete with an LT-1. My dad has a 93 that will absolutely walk away from my 89.

But it is no longer the dog on the highway it was once was. So I couldn't be happier with the investment vs performance value with this car.
