Battery
The battery in our 87 is dying, and I would like opinions on replacement.
I was going to get an Optima battery, but according to their web site http://www.optimabatteries.com/using...ear=0&brand=71
there is no battery for the C4 Vette years.
I picked every year combo available, and it seems like C5 and C3s and earlier have applications, but no C4. :(
Anyone have any suggestions on a good quality battery for a C4?

I've been running a DieHard in the IROC and am totally satisfied with performance from it and Sears. When the Vette needs a battery it will be a DieHard.

I have an Optima battery in my 1984 Corvette, and it works great. I bought it at VIP Auto parts, about $110.

I just bought an optima battery at Pep Boys, and they actually listed one for the Corvette. It fits perfect, you just have to cut two tiny tabs off the battery tray. I think the one you need is a 75/35, but don't quote me on that!
