The wife and I were on our way to the very first meeting of a brand spanking new Corvette Club in Monroe (Corvettes of Northeastern Louisiana) and halfway down the street from our house I hear this loud azz rattling, scraping sound!
My first thought was S*$%, my tranny is blown and loose parts are rattling around in there. My next thought was F%$*, my engine's got no more oil in it and everything in there is grinding away at each other! :cuss :banghead:
I get it back to the driveway and look underneath and see that it's the cover in front of the flywheel that's loose and rattling against the flywheel. We put the car back in the garage and took the F150 to the meeting instead. :banghead:
I ended up volunteering for setting up the website for our club while at the meeting. I'll post the web address when it's up and running.
Anyway, we got back home and I put the car up and end up driving back out to get some bolts from the local parts store. Fixed up that bad boy and took it out for a ride. The ride around tonight made up for all the bad stuff that happened today.
