alrighty guys i noticed that my fog lights only come on when the headlights are on??? when i thought if the parking lights are on so are the fogs
i like to drive with the parking and fogs on i think they look good till i noticed the fogs wernt on
is there any way to have them come on when i have the parking lights on. maby wire them differ. because i think it would look cool
I think that the '84 model is the only year that the driving lights can't be turned on without the headlights being on. I remember someone posting about rewiring the driving lights or installing a switch a long time ago...might be in the archives.

You're correct. The 84's only come on with the headlamps. You can rewire the switch to bypass this, I did.
well i just looked about doing it and i cant get to the fogs, but i can get to the parkin lights. its like there is this frame bolted by where the fog light thing would be. do i have to move that thing to get to it or what
thats a drag cory,i run with my park lights and fogs on regularly.like daytime running lights. plenty of light here anyway-midnight sun and all.
maybe you can find a tech tip on the fix eh.
anyone running in cool colored bulbs in thes fogs?
I just do that, because I put the 50w fog light bulbs in, and I replaced the parking lights with 10w bults (factory are 5w). Also, it looks cooler to have the headlights down and drive around.
:iagree: There is a tech tip on how to use a higher wattage (50) bulb in the fogs. It involves replacing the tail lamp fuse with a 15 amp I believe...I did that some months ago and was very impressed with the very noticibly brighter lamps. :seeya
