Wtf is going on? I saw an 84 vette with 80k miles on it and the dealership wanted 13gs for it. Is this normal? I was planning on saving 13gs by next year for a vette. With 13 can I only hope to get an 84, or is the dealership being unrealistic? What can I hope for with 13k by next year?
thanks
-Chris
First off a dealer would be the last place I would look to buy. I bought my '86 for $7200, only has 60k with a new short block, trans. rebuild, and new radiator that only has 2k on them. Look around I'm sure in today's market you can find something like this if not alot better.
Re: Vette Prices? Pease help (96 Collector Edition)
Car salesman are a lot like the card dealers in Vegas. The odds are always for the house. Even if you think you got a great hand, you got screwed somewhere, you just don't know it yet. :nono:
Agreed. Dealerships will always jack the price on a Vette. Everytime. They know people tend to react to these cars with emotion and impulse first and rationality and reason second. They can often get close their asking price from first time buyers who fall for the car on the lot and after a test drive.
