the backspacing on the ones I'm looking at is 17" x 9.5" are a +38mm offset (6.7 inch backspacing) and the 17" x 11" are a +36.5 mm offset (7.397 inch backspacing). the ones on AFS's website listed for my car are
17" x 9.5" (+56mm, 7.4" backspace) front and 17"x11" (+50mm, 7.93" backspace) rear. These are the same as the Grand Sport offset. how much of a difference is between the two? would the first ones listed poke out or anything??
Dude...you 15 years old and have vette? Geez...and all I got was a 1977 cutlass supreme......anyways...i don't think the 275's will fit on an 11" rim....if you get them to work, I think the life will be very short....need 315's :yesnod:
yes your probably right. I got outbid on the ones I wanted with the 11s so now I'm bidding on a set of 4 polished 17x9.5  bid ends tuesday! hopefully I'll get em. I'll post pics when i get whatever
how do you guys drive at 15 yrs old? i mean isnt 16 licens age everywhere?
:skep: That's what I thought too...
As far as the rims, I think the offset you want for the 17x11, is the same offset as any ZR1. 88-96's all had the same offset for all rims.
IIRC, I think you need a 56mm offset...

You get your license at 15 in Mississippi I think.
Heck, that's nothin. Per Gordon Killebrew it is difficult to introduce your wife in W Virginia as you don't know whether to say: "This is my wife" or "This is my cousin". :jester
