I got new pipes! :)
I quit smoking a month ago and to celebrate my one month of being smoke free, I bought new pipes. Well, just the mufflers... Magnaflow. It sounds great! But there is some resonance from about 1600rpms-1900rpms. Im going to ask my muffler guy if that can be adjusted or fixed. But other than that, Im happy! :party:
My buddy thinks the tips look kinda massive. But I think they look great. Man, what a difference! Why didnt I do this two years ago?

Big Congrat's. But I think the FlowMaster's are still better.
I've used them for the last 2 years. Sound is great. And using the ZR-1 tips welded on.
But if you are happy....more to you. And bye the bye, I just can't quit smoking.

Ive quit before several times. I think my problem was that I never celebrated being smoke-free. This time is for good! I hope. Its still pretty hard, but when I got the mufflers and the tips on, I felt like my lungs cleared up. Or something. They just looked better than I had imagined. So, the tips dont look "massive" like my friend thought?

Congrats on one month! It's just gets easier as time goes on. My wife and I stopped three years ago and never looked back, keep it up and promise to buy something else for your one year anniversary :D

Congrats on your stop smoking. I quit in 1985 and my health has improved
and I feel a lot better. Also I put a set of Magnoflows on my 92 over a
year ago and really like them. For me they have the right sound, not to loud
but loud enough for me.

congratulations on ending your smoking :cheers: and getting the Magnaflows! I have the cat-back on mine, and they do sound beautiful. Plus the high quality SS is a major plus. I think they're one of the best looking exhaust systems on the commercial market :thumbs:

Here's a challenge for you to help quit. Just tell yourself that if you go back to smokin' you have to give back everything you bought yourself to celebrate. i.e. the new pipes! that should help you! :lol:

You're smart. I should have gone with the Magnaflows. Instead I opted for the cheaper brands and have never been really satisfied with them. If it's worth putting on your Vette ya oughta go with quality brands and bite the bullet about cost. Ya did the right thing. Congrats.
