Default Help: Auto Door Locks

My auto door locks have quit working, usually when you walk up to the door they automatically open, then walk away and they automatically close. I know its in the drivers side, because if i hit the button to open, it opens the passenger side only. Also sometimes when I shut the drivers door the locks shudder as if to almost lock and open immediately. Short??? Anyone had this problem, also about the same time the ding when you put key into ignition stutters? Could this all be the same problem? Anyone had same problem and knows where to start looking for shorts?

Are you sure you didn't accidentally "program" the fob to manual mode? Stand by the driver's door and hold the door button for a few seconds until the door locks cycle, then it'll be back in "auto" mode, assuming this is the problem of course.
Don't know about the locks trying to work when slamming the door though.
