Interesting. I have a 96 and I had an 88 and both of them, once the parking lights were on, allowed you to have the fog lights on independent of the headlamps. I guess the 84s are wired differently...

you can read my post from like 3 days ago
what i did was
took the hot wire from each fog and ran it in threw the firewall into the car and i got a switch 2.00 at wal mart and ran the hot to one prong of the switch and i took both ground wires from each fog and left them the same.
now i got a 12 gauge power wire ran it to the battery to the other prong of the switch boom thats it.
its really not that hard the hard part was getting the stuff threw the firewall and waiting in line at wal mart for the switch :cheers:
