Default Lloyd Mats

I just received a full set of Lloyd mats for my 1996 coupe. $189 from Mid-America. Boy was I disappointed. Took out the old mats (rubber backed, thick, covered the whole floor area in the front). Put in the new ones ( thin, no rubber, barely covered the floor). In adition, the C4 emblem looks like it was pressed on, not embroidered. I could lift the edge with my finger nail. The back mat didn't even have a cutout for the rear storgae handle. Bummer! :smash:

I bought the Lloyd's Embroidered Floor Mats from Mid Am. I thought they were great. Thick black carpet, traction back and the Red embroidery emblem was flawless. They were so nice that I bought the clear floor mats
to protect them and now I can hardly see them. I'll take the clear mats out for shows. I am happy with mine.

I will have to look for the invoice, because I can't remember the vendor name for my mats. But, the ones I got are thick with the rubber back and velcro on one end(87 coupe). I was upset at the emblems because they too looked pressed on.

Either way, they were still too nice to not keep covered. So, I got the clear covers also, but I trimed the spikes on the back so they do not damage the emblem.
To take it a step further, I put in gromets on both mat and cover so they can be attached to each other with no slippage.

Next time I need mats, I might wait till a show, so I can see the quality.

I'm pretty sure mine are Lloyds as well and I am very happy with mine. Thick carpet and nice embroidery here also... Maybe they made some changes in manufacturing?

Bought mine several years ago, also from Mid America.
They are thick and the emblems are all sewed on.
Love them. Even bought one for my dash and cargo area.
Just my FYI.
Good Luck
Call them and tell them you don't like them, see what they will do for you. At least you can try.
