I own a '93 Vette. Really nice, 128K highway miles, the car needs nothing and runs like a top. Everything works.
Here's my dilemma. In 1969, I owned a '69 Mach I with 428 Cobra Jet engine and it was NICE!!! Wish i owned it today.
Anyway....I have a chance to sell the Vette, BUY a '69 Mach I with 351 Cleveland and Cobra Head Covers, completely rebuilt engine, completely off frame restoration, looks BRAND NEW. I can sell the Vette, buy the Mach I, put $2000 in my pocket and have my Mach I back. I like BOTH cars....for different reasons. Anyone can own a '93 Vette. NOT too many pristine '69 Mach I's running around. Everything is new on it from the tires to the engine to the interior, with air, P.S., P.B., etc. Everything works!
HELP!!!! I love my Vette and there is something about owning a Vette. BUT....I would like to have a Mach I also. WHAT TO DO??????? :banghead:
No brainer GET THE MACH. Put the 2000 back as a start towards getting another vette. I sold a 69 z28 :banghead: wish I could get close to getting it back. :banghead:
Sometimes memories of vehicles are better than actually having them again. My dad would love to have an old Triumph Spitfire again, but I don't think his body could take it.
If you found a Mach 1 with the 428, then I'd say do it, but don't with the smaller engine. Best case is have both~
