I took the Vette for a ride and noticed some new sounds coming from the drive train. I thought something was about to let go. Last week I had a similar situation and found a branch from a bush rubbing on my short shaft. I stopped and looked around for something easy. Nothing! After thinking the worst, I got back in and started home. Then it dawned on me that I just removed the rear speakers for amp repair which left two big holes in the back. That's where the sound was coming from. The dif is right below those holes and even the exhaust sounds louder. At my age you can't keep getting these shocks to the system. SO all is still well, at least for now.
At least when something happens to my Vette, I can pull over to the side of the road and fix it. Try that at 35,000 feet! The nerves started to go after my furlough from the airlines and more exposure to my wife. :yesnod:
