I'll disagree.....the LT5 is a strong motor, and I've run with a few....they are stronger on the top end, but I can hang with them on the bottom end....and, the LT5 was not available with the ever so loved option of the convertible.

I have never driven an LT4 or a ZR1, so can't argue with you there. But as much as I would like to own a GS, I'd pick the ZR1 over the GS any day--if they are in similar condition.

ZR1 over a GS coupe, I'll agree.

ZR1 over a GS ragtop....nope. I was gonna sell my GS for a ZR-1, and can't do it.

And Shawn, your Z ain't even close to stock...;) :jester

Sure it is! I have stock GSC's on it

It's interesting though, the differences in HP between each generation of engine:
LT1 300 HP to LT4 330 HP ~30 HP ( ;) wink wink nudge nudge closer to 50 HP)
LT4 330 HP to LT5a 385 HP ~ 30 to 55 HP (depending on your rating of the LT4)
and
LT5a 385 HP to LT5b 405 HP ~30 HP

not much difference................
You're on crack.....I had a 90 model, L98 of course, and it was quick. Then got a 96 LT1 car and it was faster....now, have the 2 LT4 cars, and they are faster. Lib's 2001 LS1 is even faster. :yesnod:

...You're on crack.....
You are not very bright......your post refers to owners, not engines. My reply suggests there isn't much difference between those of us who enjoy Corvettes....
