I've driven cars from Coffees and can attest to their condition, but they are quite high on prices. He keeps his inventory in climate controlled storage and usually has the finest conditioned cars. When I bought my first Vette, a 72 coupe, I didn't buy from him because of the high price but wish I had because the 72 turned out to be a major POS. He's a great guy and his cars are really nice...if you can afford them.
Very nice vette, but overpriced by about $7-8k, which is a whopping amount  Yes, you could find a nice LT4 for the same price. Condition is very important to me, but the price at vette dealers like that is no way justified. I don't know this for sure - but my guess is that they would only sell a couple per month, but the way overblown prices easily cover the high overhead costs. In the current C4 market - great condition vette or not - their prices simply can't be overcome, and your wallet ends up with a huge hole in it :nonod:
I think that is a bit high too. I have a Red '94 everything is the same except the stereo and Glass roof. I paid $17,000 for mine and it only had 24,000 miles on it. It does look like a great car though. (I really like the Black!)
When/if I sell my bike I'll be torn between putting around $20k out for an LT4 or try to get into a '94 or '95 for ~$15. LT4 would be nice but I think I'd have plenty of fun with the LT1.
