radio problem

radio problem
I have a 1993 coupe, and the radio/CD will lose power and cut off. When this happens, the antenna starts going up and down. Any suggestions as to what is happening or how to correct it?

Hi Warren. Welcome aboard our forum :hurray: I used to live in Valdosta, Tanglewood just off Bemis Rd on the way to Moody AFB.
Your radio sounds like a bad connection at the power plug. At least that's where I'd start.

Didn't I see this same thing over in the tech/performance? Hey, also, check all your grounds. Vettes rely heavilly on grounds and they have a tendency to corrode.
