Xenarc H.I.D Conversion Kits
Anyone looking to go to the H.I.D. lighting? Sylvania has their kits on sale for $299
I would love to upgrade, but I don't drive my vette enough anymore to rationalize the cost. I will just do socketed conversion at some point.
EDIT= Disclaimer, I am not associated with Sylvania in any way, I just stumbled across this

I've been looking at their system for a long time now. If I didn't have to dump $ into a new rear end and datascanner I'd buy them in a heartbeat at that price.

So the standard Vette head lights become high beams and I'll need to add a set of low beams in my fog light slots?

That is what I thought, but I don't think that is the case. I think the Aux lights are an Option to give a COMPLETE HID conversion for forward lights.
I am 99% sure the 6054Kit is High and Low beams.
I really wish I had the extra $$$ for that conversion. it would be nice.

This kit is both low and integrated high beams. The driving lights are just another kit you can install to get the "full" HID look up front.

Do I need to upgrade the wiring harness? $300, I'm gonna do this.

No.
The HID's use a ballast to generate the extra juice needed.

Geez, $300 and it's direct from Sylvania instead of some fly-by-night web store... holy crap.

Yes, I too am debating. If this is real, Porsche/BMW quality HID lighting. Its worth it.
Its too bad I already dished out $100 on replaceable H4 Hella lamp fixtures and hi-watt HID simulator bulbs.
