Al, I'm not even close to a half-wit when it comes to real racing/performance knowledge, but based on your sig it appears you don't really have enough mods to warrant the need of any chip. A custom one would be the way to go and most beneficial once you get some more serious intake/engine work done. At any rate, I've been in contact before with ski_dwn_it (Jesse), you might try him as one source. I hope the best for you! :thumbs:

To answer the previous questions, 1. I don't need a chip for my current engine, I'm getting ready to get my engine built with alum AFR heads, cam, honed ported polish manifold, bored TB, injectors, etc... I need a chip when it's complete, Can someone point me in the right direction.. :seeya

Bryan at http://www.pcmforless.com did a very nice PCM for me. Picked me up almost 2 tenths and 1 mph in the 1/4 mile.

Sometime back on the CrossFire Forum, someone mentioned replacing the computer with a newer one. I just can't remember which one or the p/n?
Maybe you can do a search there?
I think that Turbo City also sells them new.
Are you keeping the CFI setup?

Tony, Im going to keep the CFI setup. I just talked to someone at expresschip, they only do racing motors and wanted to know how I got their number, :) anyway he said he could burn a chip for me but I have to keep the CFI setup, but I could do anything else I wanted. I told him what I wanted to do and he said no problem (heads, cam, manifold, bored TB, injectors, headers, etc..) whatever... this sound very promising. He sending me a form to fill out. I have to list all mod changes with specs and everything. I guess I'm on my way... :hurray: :hurray: :thumbs:
