Let's see what we have laying around. Obviously, we could not all get together to assemble our "fantasy" engine, but it may be fun to see what we would end up with. Try to be truthful with what part/parts you have. Anyone with a block to start so we know what we're building?

I have a 400 block laying around. We could build a nasty big inch motor or something to blow!
I don't know what stopped me from doing it...it was $3000 more and I had the money at the time....my fantasy motor is in new92racers '90 green meanie.
LPE 420-11:1 219 cam, track 1 cyl heads, super ram GOBS of torque...500 hp/562 foot pounds of torque. LOL I guess it's good I didn't go with it though, Dave and the previous owner went through their share of trannies and rear ends with all that snap.

There is a dude in one of this month's Vette (or is it Corvette Fever?) that has two spare LT5 crate engines in case he should ever need one for his stable of ZR-1s. One of those would work! :D
i have a good water pump, opti, head gasket, oil pump, and assorted seals from my rebuild. o i also have a crank that has the #5 cylinder slightly out of round, hence the ticking. one rod too. spun bearing. all from lt1.
