c4 Digital Dash Update -> c5 Dash ...?
hey,
I dont really like the digital dash that much in the c4, has anyone updated it to a c5 look. i was thinking about updating it 2 a z06 dash (as i want 2 update stearing-wheel, air-con controlls, cd-player) kind of just update the whole inside of the car 2 a c5, its not that i dont like the c4 look, but i really like the custum c5 look and i want that look in a c4.
Do you think it is possable to update or should i just find someone 2 do custum c4 job?
*thinking about getting the parts i need, would i beable to find a wreak vette and just take the parts i need or wreak c5 or z06 hard 2 find? any places i should look maybe vette2vette would be a good start..?*

I believe gcrouse went to a completely analog setup. It looked pretty good to me. Maybe he'll chime in here and post pics again.

I believe gcrouse went to a completely analog setup. It looked pretty good to me. Maybe he'll chime in here and post pics again.

*hmm update to late model c4 dash, i through about it but u cant get the custum-interior ect and i also like the c5 look better*

Now i need someone 2 help me with the parts? does anyone have any ideas i email vette2vette, and i will look on ebay later 2day lets hope i can find something

There is a ton of custom work involved in this project.. Remember the whole dashpad portion is going to need to be reworked to fit in the C4..
I think it may be cheaper to buy a C5 than to put the interior in the C4

The second one was one of the CERV cars.
I think you will have more headaches trying to stuff a C5 dash in a C4, they are not the same and I think the C5 dash in the one c4 was heavily massaged to fit.
Now a newer C4 dash will fit, I know first hand. you will not want anything newer then a 93 dash though. The biggest obstacle is getting the PCM and BCM to work together.
