Bose Gold CD problem
I have heard the bose gold cd player has problems, my 94 has proven it too me.
Every now and then the cd won't play for about 30 mins. won't eject either, anyone have a fix?
I bought a cleaner I plan on trying that tonight.
any help would be great.

Our 94 had the same problem when we bought it. We sent it out for repair. I've heard verts have a problem with the cd due to dusty conditions. MAD has a plastic insert that covers the cd opening. We are going to try that. Can't comment on the cleaner.

Mine did the same thing right before it quit for good. This was (of course) after I had just spent $145 on a new amp for one of my speakers :smash:

Your amps will start going soon so plan on replacing all 4 of them soon....once I replaced one another failed within 2 weeks....so I decided to not throw good money after bad and replaced the whole system with aftermarket.

Last summer my CD and cassette wouldn't play. I even had a hard time ejecting both. My dealer took the head unit out and swapped me a rebuilt one for about $350. Works flawlessly, now.

Like Bodhi said, call Dr. Don's. I'm going to have my O.E.M. Bose/Gold Series head unit repaired soon by him.
