I am thinking of Ghost flaming my Vette, does anyone have any pics of a C4 with flames so i can get an idea of what they would look like? Also not sure if I should go with darker silver or lighter silver, what does everyone think?
Guess in the end if it don't look good, it'll be back to sanding, but maybe worth a try!!!
That sounds awesome. I would go with the lighter silver flames. That way they are truly ghost flames. The darker ones may stand out more than you want. If you do it, definitely share pictures!
I would ove to see pics of ghost flames on a C4 or flames of anykind for that matter. I would like to see how people have over come the the huge front wheel well. The best way i have seen so far for regular flames is to paint the front of the car one color and the back of the car another and then do the flames on the doors.
I like ghost flames myself, but haven't found anyone near me that is good at it. My idea is to have the flames originate at the gills and flow over the back wheel well. Kind of the look of an old P-40 fighter.
heres mine. its candy though, but will show how i did the transition from hood to door. silver is a hard color to put ghost flames on because a pearl will hardly show up on it. a darker color is better for pearl. i have more pics of this car (this photo is old and didn't even have clear on the car yet) if interested.

Hey I'd love to have some more pics I sent you my email thru IM thanks!
Thanks everyone for the pics, if you have any more please keep posting them. I think I'm going to go with a darker silver but not too much darker.
I wish I knew of someone that could do this to my Vette. I haven't found anyone in the southeast, yet. Those guys in SoCal have the technique down.
