Default Ramp extensions

I have drive on ramps that I use to work on most of my cars, the vette is too low to drive right on. Back when I got these ramps they sold the extensions that are made for lower cars to drive on, but of course I didn't need them back then :mad , anyone kown where I might get them? I've tried Walmart, K Mart, Pepboys, Strauss or is it time to Fabricate them?

Thanks in advance.

I use 2 pcs. of 2x4 wood each about 18 in. long laying in front of the ramps, one for each side, just to lift the front end enough to clear the lower air dam. Works great.

So just lay 2 2x4's side by side in front of each wheel, drive on and put the ramps in front to see if it clears, will try it when I get home tonight.

Thanks

They are something like $59 bucks plus shipping at Ecklers. Shipping I think was 9.00. They are wonderful, plus I think they are slighly wider to accomodate the wider tires. I sat my old set out at the curb with a sign "Free" and they were gone in a couple hours.

The first time I set them up I didn't have them assembled correctly but once I figured it out, the Vette drives up on them with ease. I do place two equal size 2x4's in front of the ramp to a raised portion of my garage floor which keeps them from creeping forward as you start the ascent. There's about a 2 1/2 foot wide area across the garage where it meet's the house's floor slab. It makes a nice area for the workbench and hot water heater. But other than my weird garage floor, when I drive up on them I put it in drive and she just about walks herself up on them without any more throttle.

Griots has the same one's Ecklers has for 54.95 plus 10 shipping.

I don't know if they will work or not, but I was looking at a new set of ramps the other day at Advance Auto and they had a set of extensions for low cars. They cost just as much as the ramps did.

I have the Rhino ramps with the extensions but I still need the 2 x 4's. Don't buy the extensions!
