I was just slowing down for a stoplight the other day, and stepped on the clutch and brake, an dI just instantly lost all pressure in the clutch peddle.
I had to start it in 1st and shift without the clutch to get home, and the clutch is just fine, I just lost the peddle. It doesn't stay on the floor, there is just very little resistance. Anyone have an idea what could be wrong? Thanks :seeya
It's easy. Standard hydraulic connections. Just pull, replace, and bleed. Much easier than brakes because the run is short with lots of slope and only one connection. I did it on an RX-7.
It's just a little messy. (perhaps not since all your fluid is gone.)
Your best bet is to change the Clutch master cylinder, slave actuator, and hydraulic line as a set. The install is easy, bleeding the system can try your patience but it isn't difficult.
Hey, thanks for the info guys. It's in the shop right now, (it was fun driving it there without the clutch, ya right), but I made it. Will get prognosis tomorrow. Will let you know after that. Thanks again! :seeya
