I'm trying to register for the solo event on the 31st at Gulf Greyhound Park, if it's not to late, and I don't know what class I am. I am a first timer but I want to get into it. Any help is appriciated. Thanks.

Jonathan: Jim Lowe here Houston Region SCCA : Do you have any mods? In A Stock, you can have any kind of exhaust, any kind of shock, and any kind of air filter as long as it fits in the air box. No chips, sway bar mods, or any other wheel size other than stock. If you have street tires, you can go into a street tire class and also compete as a novice. Tell me more and I will guide you. Go to http://www.houscca.com solo page and register as a non member. Look at the class guides. You should be either in A Stock or STA (Street Tire A). It won't make much difference since you are a novice . I am in A Stock so I can help you since you would be in my class running time. Email me at jtlowe@swbell.net and I will help you get started. There is a limit to the non member registrants so do it right away. If you join SCCA , no problem.
