Default Remoiving pre-cats?

Any idea what removing the pre-cats will do? Other then possible inspection problems. Thanks

Sure, it will make your engine sound meaner, free up some CHP and reduce the chance of a clogged main cat.

I suggest you install a 2 1/2" mandrel-bent SS front Y and 3-stage Random Tech main cat for best results. The waffel bends in both the front & rear Y-pipes realy restrict exhaust gas flow.

Unless you live in an overly restrictive state, that combo will easily pass emissions and is 49state legal.

:iagree: Although it's not legal to alter/remove the pre-cats the car will pass emissions quite easily without them.
